Removal and Installation
Batteries
If the set of baeries has 50 or more cycles on them, do not put a new baery into the set. Either replace with all new
baeries or use a good used baery. As baeries age, their maintenance requirements change. As they age they usually
require longer charging me and a higher nish rate. The newer baery mixed in with old baeries will end up being
overcharged, which will cause it to fail prematurely.
WARNING!
Use extreme cauon when working with baeries. Sulfuric acid in baeries can cause severe injury if allowed to contact
the skin or eyes. Explosive hydrogen gas is vented from the baeries through openings in the baery caps. This gas can
be ignited by any electrical arc, spark or ame. Do not install any lead-acid baery in a sealed container or enclosure.
Hydrogen gas from overcharging must be allowed to escape.
