Removal and Installation
Speed Limit Potentiometer – ST models
1. Loosen set screw and remove knob.
2. Remove potenometer mounng nut and washer.
3. Remove upper handle bolts.
4. Loosen lower handle bolts and rotate handle
down.
5. Disconnect handle electrical connector.
6. Remove the access plate.
7. Disconnect 3 electrical connectors. Carefully note
how the wires are connected so that you will be
able to reconnect them properly.
8. Remove potenometer.
9. Reassemble in reverse order.
Speed Limit Potentiometer – Non-ST models- SC750,
SC800
1. Remove upper handle bolts.
2. Loosen lower handle bolts and rotate handle
down.
3. From the back side of the paddle, remove the 4
screws securing the front cover. Parally remove
the front cover.
4. Disconnect the wiring from the speed limit poten-
ometer and remove front cover.
5. Remove the potenometer knob and mounng
nut.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.
