2. Use or to reach the desired message and press
(Read). Unread messages are indicated by .
3. Use or to browse through the message.
4. While reading the message, you can use the functions described
below. Press (Options), choose the desired function, and
press (OK). The functions available are:
Erase: Deletes the message.
Reply: Allows you to send a reply to the sender of the message.
Edit: Allows you to change the message.
Use number: Extracts a phone number from the message for
calling or saving.
Forward: Sends the message further to the desired phone
number.
Details: Shows sender’s name and phone number, message
centre used for sending as well as reception date and time.
Viewing saved messages
(Outbox - Menu 2-2)
If you have saved a text message in Write messages (Menu
2-3), you can view the message in Outbox (Menu 2-2). Pressing
(Options) allows you to access the same functions as in
Inbox (Menu 2-1), except for Reply and Details.
Writing and sending a message
(Menu 2-3)
Within this menu can write and edit text messages of up to 160
characters.
There are two ways of writing messages: the method used
traditionally in mobile phones and another method called
“predictive text input”.
