When Required
Parking Brake Cable (Lever End) - Adjustment
1. Remove bolts and washers (1) securing rear cover (2)
to floor. Remove rear cover.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the seat but
greater access will be gained if it is removed.
2. Remove the cotter pin and clevis pin from the parking
brake lever
(3).
3. Loosen the jam nut
(1) and turn the link (2)
counterclockwise to loosen the cable and clockwise to
tighten the cable. If further adjustment is required,
loosen the jam nuts securing the cable to the floor and
adjust to provide more or less cable.
