Optional vBox
If a vBox is part of your installation, consider where and how it
will be mounted.
Choosing a Mounting Location
Here are a few helpful hints about where to mount the vBox.
Consider the mounting location carefully — before any drilling or
cutting takes place. Choose a location that:
is dry; the vBox is not waterproof and not designed to be in
wet locations
is within four feet of the display
gives you easy access — since all display sources will be
connected to the vBox
Installing the vBox
Secure the vBox to a flat surface using the integral mounting
brackets. Do not overtighten the mounting screws.
Note that all vBox connectors, even video, are of the locking
variety as opposed to the friction type. This helps prevent poor or
intermittent connections from developing over time due to the
vibration-prone and humid marine environment.
