Why does the novocure Laboratory Equipment device alarm go on?

The device alarm may activate due to several reasons: * Low battery. * Loose or disconnected cable. * Overheating because vents are blocked. * A local hot spot on the transducer array, for example, from laying on a pillow. * Poor transducer array contact, possibly due to hair growth. * Device malfunction. * The device is turned on, but the therapy hasn't been activated. If the low battery light is yellow, replace the battery. If the error light is on but the low battery light isn't, press the TTFields button to stop the alarm, wait a few seconds, and press it again to activate therapy. If the alarm continues, silence it, power down the device, disconnect everything, and check for damage. Reconnect everything, power the device back up, and verify the self-test is completed, ...
