(3) HDD FORMAT SETUP: in order to enter HDD FORMAT submenu select (highlight) this
position and press ENTER button
(a) HDD Password Protect: if this option is set to ENABLE, HDD formatting will be
protected by four-digit password;
(b) HDD Password: this position is used to set-up four-digit password which will
be required when HDD formatting. This password does not
affect on main system password.
CAUTION: factory default password is: 1111. Please do not forget your new selected
password. If new password is forgotten all default settings must be restored
(c) FORMAT: if this option is selected and ENTER button is pressed data
loss warning will be displayed. If YES option is selected and
ENTER button is pressed.all data, from all connected HDDs,
will be erased. If NO option is selected formatting will be
deactivated;
CAUTION: please take extra caution when using Format function. When formating HDDs
all data are erased irrevocable
Additionally in HDD MANAGEMENT menu information on HDD capacity and usage is displayed. If
specific HDD is not installed NONE message will be displayed.
