How to fix air and powder supply issues in NSK Medical Equipment?

  If air and powder are not being supplied, or the pressure is weak in your NSK Medical Equipment, try these steps: * Replace the Nozzle Tip, as it may be clogged. * Clean the Nozzle base with the small Cleaning wire and the Nozzle end with the cleaning file. Also, clean the inside of the Handpiece with the large Cleaning wire. If this doesn't work, try Ultrasonic Cleaning with warm water. * Remove powder from inside the Chamber. * Perform Auto-Cleaning to remove any solidified powder in the air passage. * If the powder container has been left open, dispose of the powder and use a fresh supply. * Drain the compressor by opening the filter in the air supply circuit and check for water accumulation inside the air filter and compressor drain.

  If your NSK Medical Equipment handpiece is overheating, consider the following: * Adjust the power to the appropriate level as indicated in the Tip-Power Guide or on the Tip case label. * Ensure the Tip is tightened firmly using the Tip Wrench. If the problem persists, the Tip Wrench may need replacement. * Clean the screw parts of both the Handpiece and Tip. * Ensure that you are using an adequate Irrigation Volume.

  If you're experiencing no or poor water supply when using tap water with your NSK Medical Equipment, consider the following: * Verify that water is being supplied to the Control Unit and that the water pressure is within the range of 0.1 - 0.3MPa. * Ensure the Irrigation Volume is not set to “0.” Adjust it to an adequate level. * If the Irrigation Volume is insufficient, increase it in the Irrigation Volume setting; unstable water supply is normal at low volumes. * Check the Water Filter for clogs and replace it if necessary.

  If water is leaking from between the Handpiece and Handpiece Hose, the O-ring may be scratched. Replace the O-ring in the Handpiece joint section, then apply a drop of the supplied turbine oil and rub it in with your finger. (Refer to "10-1-2 Handpiece Hose (for Prophy use and Perio use).")

  First, check the Irrigation Tube for any twists and straighten it. If the issue persists, it may be time to replace the Irrigation Pump. Please refer to section 10-2 for instructions on changing the Irrigation Pump.

Lastly, check the Water Filter for clogs and replace it if necessary.

What to do if the touch panel of my NSK Laboratory Equipment does not react well?

  If the touch panel isn't responding well, it could be due to a slight misalignment caused by static electricity or exogenous noise. Try turning the POWER switch to OFF and then back to ON. Also, ensure you are touching the center of the key on the touch panel.
