INSPECTION
Inspect belt for cracks, fraying or abnormal
wear. Replace if necessary.
Drive belt width
Service limit
30.00mm(1.181 in)
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure.
Pay attention to following details.
1. Word printed on belt
2. Drive pulley (front)
3. Driven pulley (rear)
4. Rotation direction
The maximum drive belt life span is obtained
when the drive belt has the proper rotation
direction. Install it so that the arrow printed on
belt is pointing towards front of the vehicle,
viewed from top.
Install variator cover gasket.
Install the center top screw in first.
Tighten the distance screw as per following
sequence.
DRIVE PULLEY
1. Belt
2. Drive pulley
3. Driven pulley
Removal
 remove variator cover and gasket.
 Remove belt
Block the drive pulley as followed.
