Camshaft Journal Inspection
Check each journal for scoring, scuffing, cracks or
other signs of wear.
Measure camshaft journal using a micrometer .

Camshaft Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure.
Pay attention to the following details.
NOTICE The camshafts are not identical in
design. Do not invert the camshafts during
assembly. Any mix-up of the components will lead
to engine damage.
Place the camshaft retaining plate in the slot of the
camshaft.
