Status Message Help Message
Notifies the fuser unit of the printer is at the end
of its life. The end of the life, which is an error, is
counted by its counter. With the error, the printer
pauses printing. The printer changes to the
notification state when its cover is opened and
closed.

Error Code: 354
[Context]
The fuser unit has reached its end
of life.
[Action]
Turn off the printer power and
proceed as follows.
Prepare a new fuser unit.
Take the new fuser unit out of
the package and remove the
securing tape from the release
levers.
Place the fuser unit on a level
surface.
Open the printer top cover.
Move the blue fuser locking
lever to the right.
Lift out the old fuser unit by its
handle.
Hold the handle of the new
fuser unit and install it in the
printer.
Move the blue fuser locking
lever to the left.
Close the printer top cover.
Turn on the printer power.
Notifies the transfer belt of the printer is at the
end of its life. The end of the life, which is an
error, is counted by its counter. With the error, the
printer pauses printing. The printer changes to the
notification state when its cover is opened and
closed.

Error Code: 355
[Context]
The belt unit has reached its end
of life.
[Action]
Turn off the printer power and
proceed as follows.
Prepare a new belt unit.
Take the new belt unit out of the
package.
Place the belt unit on a level
surface.
Open the printer top cover.
Lift out the four drums and
place them on a level surface.
Cover the four drums with
paper.
Move the blue locking levers at
the front and back of the belt
unit to the left, and hold the
blue handles on each side to
remove.
Hold the blue handles on each
side of the new belt unit (thinner
side to the left) to install.
Move the blue locking levers at
the front and back to the right.
Reinstall the four drums.
Close the printer top cover.
Turn on the printer power.
