2.5.1 - EVACUATING CONDENSATE WATER DURING AN EMERGENCY (g.33)
Should be a malfunction occur in the condensate drain pan, the unit will stop, and fault code signals will start
ashingorange,greenandredlights(thesecondandthirdLEDsfromtheleft),alteringyouofanalarmstatus.
To temporarily enable the unit to operate until the service technician arrives, you can drain the water out of
the drain pan by following these simple instructions:
a. Remove the bottom cover (9).
b. Place a container to capture the water at least 10 ounces (0.3 l), the remove the cap from the drain valve.
c. After clearing the fault code, plug in the unit.
2.6 - ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
This unit has been designed to reduce routine maintenance operations to a minimum. Clean or replace the
airlteratleastonceamonthorasneeded,shouldtheredLEDfaultcodelightilluminate.Thisprocedure
can be performed by the end user.
• Cleaningthecondensingcoilandcondensatemanagementsystemmustbecarriedoutbyqualied
technicians on a regular basis based on frequency of use.
Depending on how dirty the coil is, the unit’s coil can be cleaned using an air compressor and reservoir.
• Cleanthecoilnswithasoftbrush,butbecarefultodamageorbendthem.Amorethoroughcleaning
can be performed using non-acidic, environmentally friendly detergents and use a damp cloth to gently
clean the surface of the unit.
• Topreventunnecessaryservicecallsfromtheenduser,explainthefunctionalityoftheremotecontrol
and unit operation to the end user.
• Alsoexplainhowtosafelycleanthelterbyrstturnofftheunit.
2.6.1 - CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
Removingorcleaningtheltermustbeperformedwiththeunitturnedoff.
Theprocedureforremovingthelterisasfollows:
a. Manuallyunhookandturnthetopreturnairgrillasindicateding.30
b.Liftthefrontpartofthelter(3)(g.30).
c. Pull slightly to remove the edge from the upper grille.
d.Removethetwoadditionallters,greenpurifyinglter(F1)andblackactivecarbonlter(F2)fromthe
lterrack(g.36).
e. Carefullywashanddrythelters.
f. Replacetheblackactivecarbonlter(F2)onthelterrack(3)andfastenittothespecictabs(g.36).
g.Replacethepurifyingltergreen(F1)ontherstpinthatisonthelterunit,pullitslightlyandfastenit
on the other two pins.
h.Retthelterrackbyinsertingtherearedgeintothegrille(3).
i. Lower the front edge on the unit.
l. Recloseandhookthetopsupplyairgrille(3)(g.37).
To deactivate leD a (if on), after having turned on the unit, press the micro button located on the signal console
(G)(g.B)withapointedobjectforafewseconds.Afterwhich,thedirtyltersignalwillreset.
