3.3 - USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control, is the interface between the end user and
the unit. it is designed to operate correctly when used properly
and should be handled with care.
For example, do not:
Leave it out in the rain, spill water on its keyboard or drop it
into water.
Subject it to impacts or drop it onto hard surfaces.
Leave it exposed to direct sunlight.
Obstruct the line of sight between the remote control and the
unit while using it.
• If other devices operated by remote control (TV, radio,
stereo systems, etc.) are located in the same room as
the unit, there may be interference.
Electronic and uorescent lighting may interfere with
communications between the remote control and the
unit.
If not being used for an extended period of time remove
the batteries from the remote control.
3.3.1 - INSTALLING REMOTE CONTROL THE BATTERIES
The remote control requires (2) AAA1.5 V batteries (not included
with the unit).
Used batteries should always be disposed of.
Replace both batteries at the same time.
To insert the batteries correctly:
a. Remove the spring-latch cover on the back of the remote
control.
b. The batteries have to be inserted according to the positive
and negative pole markings in the bottom of the battery
compartment.
c. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.
d. Close the spring-latch cover after inserting the batteries.
