4 - MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before proceeding with any maintenance and cleaning
intervention, always make sure you disconnected the
powerplugfromthepowersocket.
Donottouchthemetalpartsoftheappliancewhenyou
removethelter.
Thereisariskofinjuryduetothesharpmetaledges.
Do not use water to clean the internal parts of the air conditioner.
Exposuretowatercanruintheisolation,withtheriskofelectricshocks.
4.1 - CLEANING
4.1.a - Cleaning the appliance and the remote control
a. Use a dry cloth to clean the appliance and the remote control.
b.Itispossibletouseaclothmoistenedwithcoldwatertocleantheapplianceincaseit’sverydirty.
Donotuseachemicallytreatedorantistaticclothtocleantheappliance.
Donotusegasoline,solvent,polishorsimilarsolvents.
Theseproductscouldcausethebreakageordeformationoftheplasticsurface.
4.1.b - Servicing and cleaning the air lters
Toensuretheindoorairislteredcorrectlyandtoguaranteethatyourairconditionerrunsefciently,itis
vitaltocleantheairltersregularly.
Adirtyairlterreducesthecoolingcapacityoftheappliance.
Pleasecleanthelteronceevery2weeks.
a. Stop the air conditioner and disconnect the power supply.
b.Removethelterfromtheconditioner(g.20).
c. Washthelterswithawaterjetaimedatthesideoppositetheaccumulationofdust.Ifthedirtisparticularly
difculttoremove(suchasgreaseorothertypesofdeposit),rstimmergethelterinasolutionofwater
and a neutral detergent.
d.Shakeoffanywaterbeforereinsertingthelters(g.21).
