Installing System Software
3 If you have started the Fiery Installer Builder before, the downloaded product names are listed in the window. The Add
a new product icon appears if there is no product in the storage folder.
From this window, you can perform the following tasks:
• Add products to the storage folder (see page 38)
• Remove products from the storage folder (see page 39)
• Prepare a USB flash drive that you can use for system software installation.
If the Add button is displayed at the center of the window, no product is copied to this device yet. Click Add to add the
product(s).
Add a product in the storage folder
To add a product
1 Start the Fiery Installer Builder (see page 37).
2 Click Add.
3 At the Login the EFI Portal window, enter your Username and Password that you used for registering to the EFI Sales
Portal, and click Login. Proceed to step 4.
If you don’t have the account information for the EFI Portal, register to the EFI Sales Portal at
https://salesportal.efi.com/account/registration/.
You can also click connect Fiery link, log in to the Fiery ES by following the below steps.
a At the Please type a location prompt, enter the name or IP address of your Fiery ES, and click Next.
b Enter Username and Password of the Fiery administrator, and click Next to log in to the server.
Contact the site administrator for the administrator’s account information.
4 At the Select a Brand window, click a brand name and click Next.
5 At the Select a Product window, click a product that you want to install, and click Next.
6 At the Summary window, click Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links to read the software license terms and conditions.
7 Click the check box if you agree with the terms and conditions, and click Accept to start software download.
A status bar appears to show the progress. Wait until the download is complete.
8 When you finish downloading, exit the Fiery Installer Builder and remove the USB portable storage device from the
computer. You can use the USB portable storage device to install the system software to the Fiery ES.
