When the speakers voice is to be recorded clearly, set to dictation mode and move the built-in stereo
microphone close to the speaker’s mouth (5 to 10 cm) and record.

button for 1 second or longer.
The main menu opens (☞ P.16,18).

Press the 3 or 2 button to choose
“MIC SENSE”.

The microphone sensitivity setup
process begins.

Press the 3 or 2 button to choose
between “CONFERENCE” and
“DICTATION”.
CONFERENCE:
High-sensitivity mode that
records sounds in all directions.
DICTATION:
Low-sensitivity mode suited for
dictation.

complete the setup screen.

the main menu.
