14. Once contact time has been reached, flush the channels with 90mls of fresh water,
followed by 90mls of air through each channel
15. Rinse the entire endoscope with clean fresh water
Please refer to the manuals for recommendations on cleaning and brushing for
bronchoscopes and duodenoscopes.
16. Place the endoscopes in a yellow bio-hazard bag, this to prevent cross contamination.
Place this in the endoscope’s transportation case. Send to Olympus along with the
relevant paper work.
For 190 series: For example, colonoscope CF-190,
PCF-190, gastroscope GIF-190, GIF-XP190N and
bronchoscopes BF-190
