Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
2 Turn the check tool so that you see an image similar to the one
shown in the figure below.
3 Perform the distance mode stereo measurement (see page 145) to
measure a known distance of 2 mm or 0.1 inch between two
indices.
4 Confirm that the measurement accuracy is within ±10% and write
down the measurement result.
5 Perform the above test measurements before and after the actual
inspection to confirm that the obtained values are almost identical.
CAUTION
• The measurement values are not reliable if the above values differ from each other
considerably. In this case, check that the adapter is not loose and the lens components are
not dirty and, if required, execute “Using a new stereo optical adapter (NEW STEREO
ADAPTER)” (page 134) and retry capturing the measurement images.
