Chapter 3 Preparation and inspection before observation
Taking the instrument out of the case
Remove the equipment in the order of: Insertion tube → Control unit →
Base unit.
WARNING
• Never use the base unit while it is accommodated inside the case. If the top cover of the case
is left open, it may close unexpectedly and pinch your hand or a cable.
CAUTION
• Place the case on a level surface so it is stable.
• When opening or closing the top cover of the case, always make sure that the extendable
handle is in the stored (non-extended) position.
• To open the top cover of the case, release the latch on the front of the case.
• Do not pull the insertion tube with excessive force when taking it out of the storage bag.
• Hold the drum while pulling the insertion tube out.

Take the insertion tube, which is
on the drum, out of its storage bag.
Remove the control unit.
Remove the Insertion tube
from the drum.
Attach the soft handle and lift
the base unit to remove it.
