3.10 Installation of the control unit on the base
unit
The control unit can be attached to the base unit as desired. It can be attached
to the base unit for carrying and left attached to the base unit during observation.
1 Fit the hanger on the side of the control unit into the scope handset
holder on the side of the base unit. The hanger may not fit correctly
at an angle into the scope handset holder, be sure to put it straight
into the scope handset holder.
2 Push in the hanger until you feel a click. If it is not inserted
completely it may come off too easily.
3 When detaching the control unit from the base unit, pull the control
unit straight upward from the base unit.
