Recording
format
When stereo optical adapter is selected, files are
stored as compressed JPEG format (Exif 2
compliant) high (HIGH) or uncompressed TIFF
format (TIFF-YC). When other optical adapters
are used, the compressed JPEG format (Exif 2
compliant) is selected automatically. With JPEG,
the image quality can be selected from SHQ,
high and standard.
Character
superimpose
The date/time, title, note and OLYMPUS logo
displayed on the screen can be superimposed
on the image. If a stereo optical adapter is
connected, superimposed and non-
superimposed images are recorded.
Audio recording
Setting Audio recording is possible according to the
menu setup.

WAV format.
Setting Max. 60 sec.Interruption possible during this
period.
Still image retrieval Audio playback When a moving image containing audio
recording is played, the recorded audio is played
simultaneously.
Restrictions Images and audio recorded on IPLEX FX can be
retrieved.
Images in a different TV format cannot be
played even when they were recorded with the
IPLEX FX.
