Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
Flow of stereo measurement
1 Preparation for stereo measurement
Prepare for measurement by the following procedure described in “Attaching the
stereo optical adapter” (page 131) and “Stereo optical adapter selection” (page
132).
2 Measurement value check
Check the measurement value before inspection by the following procedure
described in “Measurement value check” (page 140).
3 Execution of stereo measurement
Capture the object image and apply measurement.
4 Measurement value check
After completing inspection, check the measurement value after examination by
the following procedure described in “Measurement value check” (page 140).
CAUTION
• If the inspection values vary considerably before and after the inspection, a possible cause
may be a loosening of the optical adapter during inspection. As the measurement result is not
reliable in this case, capture the object image again.
If the optical adapter is loose, make sure that the O-ring has not been detached.
If the O-ring is detached, attach the spare O-ring correctly. See “Inspecting the
O-ring” (page 40) for information on how to attach the O-ring.
