Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
Using a new stereo optical adapter (NEW STEREO
ADAPTER)
To use a new stereo optical adapter for stereo measurements, you need to
register the stereo optical adapter in advance by executing “NEW STEREO
ADAPTER” in the stereo optical adapter list.
CAUTION
• When the combination of the stereo optical adapter is changed due to additional purchase or
repair of the original scope unit, it is required to execute the “NEW STEREO ADAPTER”
setup.
NOTE
• The “NEW STEREO ADAPTER” setup consists of creating the environment data, which is
the measurement parameters specific to the combination of a specific stereo optical adapter
and specific scope, based on the optical data that is the information specific to each stereo
optical adapter model (this data is provided with the Stereo Measurement Set) and on the
white image that is the information on the combination of the stereo optical adapter and
scope.
• The environment data that is created is stored in the internal memory of the base unit.
1 Attach the new stereo optical adapter to the distal end of the scope
while the live screen is displayed.
The stereo optical adapter list is displayed.
