Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
Point to line
This mode allows for measuring the distance from a measurement point to the
reference line defined by two reference points.
Offset
This mode allows for measuring the distance between a measurement point and
a reference line specified by two points, as well as displays an offset line which is
through the measurement point and parallel to the reference line. Offset line can
be used as a visual guide to judge whether a defect such as material loss or
erosion meets inspection criteria.
