The H5S Digital Time Switch is a versatile and user-friendly device designed for precise time-based control in various applications. It offers a range of features for easier setup, convenient operation, and effective maintenance.
The H5S Time Switch allows for the scheduling of output operations based on different control cycles: weekly and yearly. It supports both 2-circuit and 4-circuit output models, catering to diverse control needs. The device can execute ordinary timer operations, pulse-output operations, and cyclic operations.
Ordinary Timer Operation: This function enables the user to set specific ON and OFF times for the output over a weekly or yearly period. For weekly models, operations can be scheduled for individual days or multiple days, allowing for continuous ON or OFF states between specified start and end days. Yearly models extend this capability to an annual calendar, with an integrated calendar up to 2099.
Pulse-output Operation: This feature allows the output to turn ON for a fixed, user-defined period (pulse width) at a set ON time. The pulse width can be set in increments of seconds or minutes, offering flexibility for applications requiring momentary activation.
Cyclic Operation: The H5S can repeatedly turn outputs ON and OFF during a specified period, from a cyclic start time to a stop time. Both ON and OFF times can be set independently, making it suitable for recurring tasks.
Automatic Program Switching by Seasons (Yearly Models): For yearly models, the device can automatically change its weekly program based on the season. Up to four seasons can be set for 4-circuit models, and up to two seasons for 2-circuit models, ensuring optimal operation throughout the year without manual adjustments.
Bank Switching (Weekly Models): This function allows two groups (banks) of programs to be registered and switched by an external input. This is useful for scenarios where different operational modes are required and can be triggered externally.
Day Override Operation (Weekly Models): This feature enables the temporary execution of one day's operation on another day within a 7-day period, starting from the current day. This is useful for temporary schedule changes without altering the main program.
Summertime (DST) Adjustment: The H5S includes a summer time (Daylight Saving Time) adjustment function. Yearly models offer automatic switching to DST, while weekly models allow for manual adjustment of the current time by +1 hour.
Manual Operation on Recovery from Power Failure: After power is restored, the H5S can be configured to stop turning ON output until an external input is applied, providing a safety measure for critical applications.
