The used detector is not subjected to measurable aging when used properly.

Lamp

Operation of the lamp below its
nominal voltage (4.8 V DC
instead of 5.0 V DC) enhances
lamp life. Strong vibrations, high
temperatures or frequent on and
off switching of the system can
have negative effects on the
service life. Statistical service life
is 3 years.
