6.10 Warranty
Optomed Aurora is covered by a limited warranty granted by Optomed Oy.
SUBMITTING A CLAIM
Any claim under this warranty must be submitted in writing before the end of warranty period to Optomed
Oy. The claim must include a written description of the failure to the device.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Products that have been subjected to abuse, accident, alternation, modification, tampering, misuse, faulty
installation, lack of reasonable care, repair or service in any way that is not contemplated in the documentation
of the product, or if the model or serial number has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed. The
warranty does not cover damage caused by dropping the device or damage caused by normal wear. Repair
or service done by a non-Optomed-authorized service facility is not covered by the warranty.
| Important information
This declaration shall be rendered invalid if changes are made to the product without the manufacturer’s
authorization.
