Description
The sensors of the optris CSmicro series are noncontact infrared thermometers.
They calculate the surface temperature based on the emitted infrared energy of objects [► Basics of
Infrared Thermometry].
The sensor housing of the optris CSmicro is made of stainless steel (IP65/ NEMA-4 rating) – the sensor
electronics is integrated inside the connection cable.

Lens cleaning: Blow off loose particles using clean
compressed air. The lens surface can be cleaned with a
soft, humid tissue moistened with water or a water based
glass cleaner.
