3 Function and external components
3.1 Fundamental operating principle
The control unit changes/switches the lighting at workplaces, in corridors and other common
rooms depending on the usable daylight and the presence/motion of persons. This is recorded by
sensors. This increases working comfort and saves energy. There are function modes for various
applications/scenarios
8 .
These can be adapted individually 5.
3.2 DALI 1 / DALI 2 twin-channel control
The luminaires can be operated with identical light values or with OFFSET for CH-2 after electrical
installation to the DALI 1 (CH-1) and DALI 2 (CH-2)
5.10.
3.3 External push-button
4
Actuation of an external push-button has priority over automatic functions.
3.4 Behavior after mains interruption
Depending on the set function mode, the system is in preset condition when mains voltage is
restored:
Operating mode Condition
Single Office OFF
Open Plan Office OFF
Corridor STANDBY
Meeting room/classroom LAST STATE
Sanitary Room STANDBY
Staircase STANDBY
No operating mode selected LAST STATE
