Damper
The Damper is placed in the hook on BTE instruments.
It mainly works as an acoustic filter, shaping the frequency
response, but also has a function of preventing moisture and
cerumen from entering into the instrument.
If there is no sound in the instrument or the sound output is
reduced, it may be caused by a clogged Damper and it must
be replaced.
Replace the Damper as shown.
Notice: The Damper is not used with BTE Power instruments.

— Medium Receivers
Replace the wax filter in case it is clogged
or if there is no sound in the instrument.
