Danger!
Pay particular attention when on slopes and inclines to prevent:
- the child from falling out of the Kimba Spring;
- the Kimba Spring from tipping over;
- the Kimba Spring from rolling away.
Danger!
Park the buggy only on level surfaces. If you have to park the Kimba on an incline,
make sure that you bring the seat to an upright position because there is a risk that
the Kimba can tip over backwards when in a reclined position.
Danger!
Before leaving the Kimba Spring and before getting into and out of it, always lock
the brakes.
Danger!
Only lift the Kimba Spring with parts that are solidly attached.
There are specific risks:
- on front frame tube above the front wheels
- on the rear axle;
- on push handle / pushbar.
Danger!
The footplate must not be used for getting into or out of the pediatric car seat.
Danger!
The cable of the seat tilt mechanism is a safety relevant component, which is not
designed for an external pull effect. Never pull directly at the cable, since this can
cause the seat tilt to be (inadvertently) released. To release the seat tilt, only use the
release lever (Fig. 2, item B) provided for this purpose.
Danger!
When your child reaches for objects in front, to the side or behind the buggy, make
sure that it does not lean out of the buggy too far since the shift in the center of grav-
ity might cause the buggy to tilt or tip over.
Danger!
Tire pressures have a big effect on handling. Correctly inflated tires considerably
improve the maneuverability of your Kimba Spring. The air pressure should be at
least 2 bar (200 kPa).
Danger!
Please be aware that in the case of certain footrest settings the footrest can collide
with the caster wheels.
Danger!
Please keep packaging material away from children. Plastic packaging presents
the danger of suffocation.
Danger!
After you have finished all adjustments, snugly re-tighten the screws that have been
loosened.
