e) Back inclination
Release the clamping lever (Fig. 3), adjust back inclination, and firmly re-tighten the clamping
lever. For securing the backrest for transportation in a motor vehicle, please refer to section 8:
“Using your Kimba Spring as a Seat for Transportation in Motor Vehicles”.
f) Knee angle
Loosen the wing nut (Fig. 13, item A), adjust knee angle, and firmly re-tighten the wing nut.
g) Footrest height
Loosen the set screws (Fig. 14, item B) with an Allen wrench, adjust the lower leg length, and
firmly re-tighten the set screws. The footrest can be flipped up for transport or to support the
lower leg.
h) Footplate angle
The footplate angle can be changed by adjusting the locking bushing (Fig. 14, item A) in the
slotted holes. Pull the release strap (Fig. 14, item D) to flip up the footplate.
