AllOusterSensorwindowaremadefrompolycarbonate. Basedonthesensorusageyoumayseedust,
bugsand/orlayersofmud/debrisonthewindow. Beforeyouattempttocleanyoursensor,pleaseread
theinstructionsbelowonbestpracticesforcleaningOusterSensors.
RequiredMaterials:
Fewcleanmicrofibercloths
Warmwater
Mildliquiddishwashingsoap
Spraybottlewithcleanwater
Spraybottlewithmildsoapywater
99%Isopropylalcohol
Warning:
Avoidgettingwaterintothepowerconnector.
Avoidusinghardwaterwhencleaningthesensor.
Donotuseacetonetocleanthewindow. Itwillembrittlethepolycarbonate.
Donotwipedirtdirectlyfromthesensor. Sprayitoffwithwarmwaterfirst.
Procedure:
Usingthe99%isopropylalcoholandacleanmicrofibertowel,wipeawaybugs/mud/debrisfrom
thesensor.
Spraythesensorwithwarm,mild-soapywaterandgentlywipethesensorwithacleanmicrofiber
towel. Wipealongthecurveofthesensor,nottop-to-bottom(thinkmovingwiththegrain).
Spraythesensorwithcleanwatertorinseoffthesoapanddrywithasecondmicrofibertowel.
