Why won't my Owlet Dream Sock Medical Equipment Base Station connect to Wi-Fi?

  If you're having trouble connecting your Owlet Medical Equipment Base Station to Wi-Fi, first, double-check that you've entered your Wi-Fi password correctly. If the password is correct, try moving the Base Station closer to your Wi-Fi router during the setup process. If your Wi-Fi isn't working, try restarting your mobile device and reconnecting to your Wi-Fi or reset your Wi-Fi router. Also, the Owlet only supports 2.4 GHz, so ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz network. If your Wi-Fi requires authentication through a browser or has firewall restrictions, try a different network.

  If you can't find your home Wi-Fi network in the Owlet Dream App, it might be because your home router is using a 5.0 GHz network. The Owlet Medical Equipment only supports 2.4 GHz networks. To fix this, make sure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz network. Most 5.0 GHz routers also support 2.4 GHz.

  If your Owlet Medical Equipment app is resetting and asking you to set up the system again, it could be because the Base Station was previously registered to a different user account. The Base Station can only be registered to one account at a time, so use one account for all caregivers. Alternatively, you might have logged in with a different account. Try logging out of the Dream App and logging back in with the correct account.

  If your Owlet Medical Equipment Base Station isn't registering with your Owlet Dream App account, first, verify that your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Base Station. Also, check the green Wi-Fi light on the bottom of the Base Station to ensure it is on. If it's not on, try reconnecting the Base Station to the Wi-Fi network.

  If your Owlet Medical Equipment Base Station is disconnected from the internet, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the Base Station might be too far from your Wi-Fi router. Try moving the Base Station and the Wi-Fi router closer together. Note that Wi-Fi range extenders and second routers will not help. Second, your home Wi-Fi might not be working, so try resetting your Wi-Fi router.

  If the Sensor for your Owlet Medical Equipment will not connect to the Base Station, it may be out of range. Try moving the Base Station to a different location. Also, other devices might be interfering with the Sensor. Try moving other electronics near the Sensor or the Base Station, or move the Base Station to a different location.
