Shooting in 1080i/576i progressive mode
Selecting 1080i/25P or 576i/25P in the REC
FORMAT option (page 105) of the setting menu
RECORDING SETUP screen enables shooting in
progressive mode.
25P mode:
Shoot 25 frames a second in the progressive
mode.
For output and recording, the 25-frame-per-
second signal is converted to 50-field-per-second
interlace.
This mode gives you high quality images.

Note the following when shooting in
progressive mode.
• You cannot have a gain of 18dB.
• Set the shutter speed to 1/50 (OFF) for best
results.
