• If an external paging system or a Universal Answer system has been
installed, use Group Call Pickup to respond to the Paging call.
Message Waiting/Callback Request
(CPC-S and CPC-M)
Description
If you call an extension that is busy or does not answer, you can leave a
message requesting a return call.
Operation
To leave a Callback Request:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the extension number.
3. Dial “2” at the busy tone or while the telephone is still ringing.
4. Replace the handset.
To answer a Callback Request:
1. Pick up the handset.
The phone issues intercom dial tone.
2. Press the
AUTO
key.
3. Press the
REDIAL
key.
Your telephone automatically dials the extension that left the Callback
Request.
To cancel a Callback Request:
1. Lift the handset or press
ON/OFF
.
2. Press the
AUTO
key.
3. Press the
FLASH
key.
