Special Features
Fade In:
Starting the first scene with “ fade in” is very
effective.
In Record/Pause mode, hold down
FADE
until the picture fades out.
Then, press
RECORD/PAUSE to start
recording.
Release
FADE and the picture will
gradually fade in.
Fade Out:
Use to create a soft ending or (together with
fade in) for a soft transition from one scene
to the next.
During recording, hold down
FADE until
the picture fades out.
Then, press RECORD/PAUSE to pause
the recording.
EVF or LCD
monitor indication.
Press
BACK LIGHT to activate the Backlight feature.
The Indicator “
” will appear in the EVF or LCD monitor.
Press
BACK LIGHT
again to cancel
the Backlight feature.

Use when recording a subject that is darker than the surrounding scene, in a shadowed
area, or when the light source is behind your subject.

This feature allows you to make smoother scene transitions for a more professional look.
