Changing the unit’s settings
You can change the unit’s settings using Setup menu.
≥The settings remain intact even if you switch the unit to
standby.
1 While stopped
Press [SETUP].
2 Select the menu, then press [OK].
3 Select the item, then press [OK].
4 Select the option, then press [OK].
≥Follow the instruction on the screen if the operation
method is different.
≥Depending on connection or the status of this unit
some items cannot be selected or changed the
settings.
∫ About the PIN
PIN is required to change the following settings. Enter
following the instructions on the screen.
≥The PIN set here is common for the following items.
– Child Lock ( Parental Rating )
– DVD-Video Parental Control
– Lock (Internet Content Settings)
PIN can be changed via the PIN Entry. (> 82)
1 Select the number, then press [1].
≥You can also use the numbered buttons.
2 Press [OK].
3 Repeat step 1 to enter 4-digit PIN.
4 Press [OK] to confirm.

≥Make a note of PIN in case you forget it.
∫ Favourites Edit
You can create four Favourites of channels for viewing and
recording easier.
Press the “Green” button to select the Favourites to
edit.
≥To add channels to a Favourites list
1 Select the channel in the “All Digital Channels” column,
then press [OK].
≥“Green”: Select the “Favourites”.
≥“Yellow”: Add all channels.
2 Press [RETURN ].
3 Press [OK] to save the Favourites.
≥To change the order of channels
1 Select the channel in the “Favourites” column to move,
then press the “Green” button.
2 Select the new position of the channel, then press the
“Green” button.
3 Press [RETURN ].
4 Press [OK] to save the Favourites.
≥To delete channels in a Favourites list
1 Select the channel in the “Favourites” column, then press
[OK].
≥Press the “Yellow” button to delete all the channels from
the Favourites.
2 Press [RETURN ].
3 Press [OK] to save the Favourites.
≥To change the name of a Favourites list in the
Favourites column
1 Press the “Red” button in the “Favourites” column.
2 Press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select a character, then press
[OK].
Repeat this step to enter other characters.
≥“Red”: Delete character.
≥“Blue”: Delete all characters.
3 Press [RETURN ].
4 Press [OK] to save the Favourites.
