Adjust the quality of the image while recording.
Adjust by outputting to a TV while adjusting the quality of the image.
! Set the AUTO/MANUAL switch to MANUAL. ( 59)
1 Select the menu. ( 24)
2 Select the item with the cursor
button and press the cursor
button.
[SHARPNESS]:
Sharpness of the edge
[COLOUR]:
Depth of the colour of the image
[EXPOSURE]:
Brightness of the image
3 Adjust the settings with the
cursor button.
! After adjustments are made if no operations
are performed for about 2 seconds, the bar will
disappear.
! Press the MENU button to complete the
settings. [ ] appears on the screen.
Parts where white saturation (colour saturation) is likely to occur (extremely brightly lit or shiny parts)
are displayed with diagonal lines (zebra pattern).
! Set the AUTO/MANUAL switch to MANUAL. ( 59)

Zebra pattern
! You can record an image with little white
saturation if you manually adjust the shutter
speed or brightness (iris/gain) ( 68).
! The zebra pattern does not appear on the
images actually recorded.
