Changing the Picture Size
You can choose among 4 picture size
settings.

• Set the mode dial except for [ ] /[ ]/[ ].

Press the [MENU] button.

Press 3/4 to select [PICT.SIZE].

Press 2/1 to select the picture size.
• : 2048 a 1536 pixels
• : 1600
a 1200 pixels
• : 1280
a 960 pixels
• : 640
a 480 pixels

Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu will disappear.
• In motion image mode [ ], the picture size is fixed to 320
a 240 pixels.
• The smaller the picture size you select, the more pictures you can store on the Memory
Card. In addition, a small data volume allows you to attach the picture to an e-mail or post it
on a web site more easily.
• If you select a larger picture size, the printed picture will be clearer, especially with larger
sized prints.
