Initializing the settings
This feature allows you to easily reset the
camera to the factory default settings.
[Preparation]
• Set the mode dial except for [ ]/[ ]. (P22)

Press the [MENU] button.

Press 1 to open the setup menu.

Press 3/4 to select [RESET] and
then press 1.

When this message is displayed
“RESET REC SETTINGS?”, press
2/1 to select [YES].

Press the 4/[REVIEW/SET] button.
• The message “REC SETTING RESET
COMPLETED” is displayed for about
2 seconds.

When this message is displayed
“RESET SETUP PARAMETERS?”,
press 2/1 to select [YES].

Press the 4/[REVIEW/SET] button to
set.
• The clock setting is not reset.

Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu will disappear.
