When the flash is used with the Red-Eye Reduction ([ ], [ ], [ ]) selected, it
will automatically detect and correct the red-eye in the image data.
Applicable modes:
[OFF]/[ON]

It may not be able to correct the red-eye depending on the recording conditions.
• When the Digital Red-Eye Correction is set to [ON], [ ] appears on the flash icon.
• Refer to P68 for details.

When using the external viewfinder (optional), you can switch the screen to a suitable
display.

Display on the LCD monitor is switched by pressing [DISPLAY] for a few times. Refer to P64 for
switching display on the LCD monitor.
• The screen is normally off. However elements such as the focus icon and the flash charging
icon are lit.
• See P198 for details about how to install the external viewfinder.
• Set to [OFF] when not using the external viewfinder.
• The default setting for AF Mode is [Ø].
• When set to [ON], [š] and [ ] in [AF MODE] cannot be set.
