Cue Playback 0
Keep the Cue Button [PP*) 0 pressed during playback.
Review Playback (D
Keep the Review Button \«] e pressed during playback.
Search Lock Function
For longer Cue or Review Playback, press the Cue Button
[ ►► ] or the Review Button only briefly.
As this locks the search function, you do not need to keep the
button p'essed for a long time.
•To resume normal playback, press the Play Button { ► ].
•In Cue and Review Playback, pictures with fast-moving
subjects may contain mosaic-like patterns.
Hyper Check Function
•If you press the Fast-fonvard Button [^] during fast-
forwarding of the tape or the Rewind Button during
rewinding of the taps, Cue Playback or Review Playback
continues for as long as you keep tfie Button pressed.
•At the beginning and end of Cue Playback or Review
Playback, some momentary picture distortion may occur.
Variable Speed Search Function ©
It is possible to change the speed of Cue Playback or Review
Playback.
1 Press the Play Button [P-] during playback.
2 Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select the desired
search speed.
The Variable Speed Search Function offers the following 6
different pla^ack speeds both in forward and reverse
directions: 1/5x (slow playback In SP Mode only), 1/3x (slow
playback in LP Mode oniy), 1 x, 2X, 5X, 10x, 20x
Returning to Normal Playback
Press the Play Button [ ► ].
Playback continues at normai speed.
•During Variable Speed Search, mosaic-like patterns appear
in the picture.
•When using the Variable Speed Search Function, the sound
is muted.
