This function lets you select Automatic Exposure settings
<^timized for special recording situations.
1 Slide the Mode Selector Switch down
repeatedly from the [MNL] position, until the
Movie Camera Is put in the desired mode
The indication of the selected mode appears.
[ ^ ] Sports Mode Q
To record scenes with fast-moving subjects such as
sports scenes.
Portrait Mode Q
To make subjects stand out sharply from the
background.
[g] Low Light Mode 0
To record dark scenes more brightly.
[Q]] Spotlight Mode 0
To record subjects under bright spotlights such as at a
party, in the theatre, etc.
[gvi] Surf & Snow Mode 0
To record subjects in brightly lit surroundings such as on
a ski slope, beach, etc.
Cancelling the Programme AE Function
Set the Mode Selector Switch to (AUTO].
It is not possible to adjust the shutter speed 108) or the
iris value (• ♦ 110) when one of the Programme AE Modes is
selected.
