Error information page
When [Error (Detail)] or [Warning (Detail)] is displayed in the [SELF TEST] display eld of the [Projector status]
screen, click it to display the content of the error/warning.
f The projector may go into the standby status to protect the projector depending on the contents of the error.

1 Self-diagnosis result display
Displays the item check results.
[OK]:
Indicates that operation is normal.
[FAILED]:
Indicates that there is a problem.
[WARNING]:
Indicates that there is a warning.
r [FAILED] items displayed when a problem occurs
Parameter Description
[FAN] Trouble has occurred in the fan or its drive circuit. Consult your dealer.
[FAN(INTAKE1)] Trouble has occurred in the intake fan 1.
[FAN(INTAKE2)] Trouble has occurred in the intake fan 2.
[FAN(INTAKE3)] Trouble has occurred in the intake fan 3.
[FAN(LAMP)] Trouble has occurred in the luminous lamp cooling fan.
[FAN(EXHAUST)] Trouble has occurred in the exhaust fan.
[FAN(POWER)] Trouble has occurred in the power fan.
[INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE]
The environment temperature is too high. Use under the proper operating environment temperature

[EXHAUST AIR
TEMPERATURE]
The
environment temperature is too high
or the air exhaust port may be blocked.

and check that the air exhaust port is not blocked.
[DC OUT]
The device which exceeds the rated power (DC 5 V, maximum 2 A) is connected to the projector. Remove
the device and then switch off and on the power of the projector.
[LAMP REMAIN TIME]
The luminous lamp runtime has exceeded the prescribed cumulative time, and it is now time to replace the
lamp unit.
[LAMP STATUS]
The luminous lamp has failed to light.
Wait a short while for the luminous lamp to cool off, and then turn on the power.
[APERTURE (CONTRAST-
SHUTTER)]
Trouble has occurred in the contrast shutter circuitry. Consult your dealer.
[AIR FILTER]
There is too much dust accumulated in the air lter unit. Turn off the projector and unplug the power plug
from the wall outlet, then maintain the air lter unit.

[Network status] page
Click [Status] → [Network status].
The current network setting status is displayed.
