Simple Setup
HDMI is a next-generation digital interface for consumer electronic products.
Unlike conventional connections, it transmits uncompressed digital video and audio signals on a single cable. This
unit supports high-definition video output (720p, 1080i) from the HDMI AV OUT terminal.
≥Do not use the scart cable when you use the HDMI cable for the connection.
≥Do not connect any kind of audio/video distribution devices between this unit and the television (such as an
amplifier, etc.).
≥Set “Video Output” to “On” and “Audio Output” to “On” (➜ page 32, “HDMI” menu).
≥Set “Video Output Mode” (➜ page 28, Picture Menu).
∫ HDAVI Control function
If your Panasonic television is an HDMI control compatible television, you can operate your television synchronizing
with home-theater operations or vice versa (➜ page 40).
≥ It is recommended that you use Panasonic’s HDMI cable.
[Recommended part number: RP-CDHG15 (1.5 m), RP-CDHG30 (3.0 m), RP-CDHG50 (5.0 m), etc.]
≥ Non-HDMI-compliant cables cannot be utilized.
