No sound is produced
Is “Sound mute” active? Press MUTE to switch sound mute on or off.
Is the volume set to the minimum?
Check connections and setting of external equipment.
Watching > External equipment
Ensure that Speaker Selection is set to TV.
Watching > For best audio > Volume settings
Functions > VIERA Link “HDAVI Control™” > Speaker Selection
Ensure that TV Speaker Setting is set to TV Speaker.
Watching > For best audio > Volume settings
Check the supplied external speaker is connected to the exclusive speaker
terminal of the TV properly. (EZ1002B series)
Sound level is low or sound is distorted
Sound signal reception may be poor.
Set NICAM in the Sound Menu to Off. (Analogue)
