If you cannot “Talk” or “Page” in certain areas, it may be because radio waves cannot reach the area. Ensure that there are no metallic objects obstructing radio waves.

Why can't I communicate with store personnel or the customer using my Panasonic WX-CH457P Headsets?

There could be several reasons why you can't communicate with store personnel or customers. First, the Center Module might be off; try turning it on. If that doesn't work, the headset's ID may not be registered in the Center Module; register it. Also, pressing the [S] + [P] or [S] + [T] buttons simultaneously can activate extended functions, so try turning the power off and on again.

If your headset won't turn on, the battery may be exhausted or not inserted correctly; try replacing it with a charged one and ensuring it's properly positioned. Alternatively, the microphone boom might be in the “off” position; rotate it to turn on the power.
