If in the above example you were to add an LCD Keypad (80PU) to the 100 foot or 300 foot wire, you would not exceed the wire’s limit. Although,
adding the LCD Keypad to the 1,000 foot wire would exceed the wire’s limits, thereby causing devices to function at decreased capacity.

Do not use the same transformer for the control panel and the external power supplies. Modules should never be
installed more than 3,000 feet (914m) from the control panel.
