12.06.01 Basic position of the thread trimmer
Requirement
1. When the thread trimmer is in its resting position, levers 1 and 2 should be touching the
stops 6 and 7.
2. In needle rise position roller lever 8 should be positioned in the centre of the path of
control cam 9.
● Adjust levers 1 and 2 (screws 3) in accordance with requirement 1.
● Bring the machine into the needle rise position, see Chapter 12.05.07 Hook-to-needle
clearance, needle rise, needle height and needle guard.
● Adjust connection rod 4 (nuts 5, left and right thread) in accordance with requirement 2.
